2 Corinthians 4:18

So, we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal.

The thought of Eternity makes you want to repent, while the thought of time makes you want to procrastinate. 

James 4:13-15

And now I have a word for you who brashly announce, “Today—at the latest, tomorrow—we’re off to such and such a city for the year. We’re going to start a business and make a lot of money.” You don’t know the first thing about tomorrow. You’re nothing but a wisp of fog, catching a brief bit of sun before disappearing. Instead, make it a habit to say, “If the Master wills it and we’re still alive, we’ll do this or that.

Do I take any pleasure in the death of the wicked? declares the Sovereign Lord. Rather, am I not pleased when they turn from their ways and live?

The world says stay tuned, the scriptures say stay turned. 

Repentance is not when you cry, it’s when you change . 

Repentance comes not at being troubled by our bad behavior (that’s conviction) but at turning from our bad behavior. 

Ephesians 4:14. NLT

Then we will no longer be immature like children. We won’t be tossed and blown about by every wind of new teaching. We will not be influenced when people try to trick us with lies so clever, they sound like the truth.
